Bundesliga duo Josko Gvardiol (RB Leipzig) and Nico Schlotterbeck (Freiburg) have reportedly been targeted by Tottenham.
Having made signing a left centre-back their top priority this summer, Tottenham have identified Gvardiol and Schlotterbeck as top targets alongside Inter's Alessandro Bastoni and Lille's Sven Botman, according to The Athletic.
It would be difficult to prize Gvardiol away from Leipzig, though. The 20-year-old is still under contract until 2026 and emphasized last month that he has no interest in leaving Red Bull Arena.
"I really enjoy every day with this great team, at this first-class club," Gvardiol told Bild.
"I don't think about anything else. And if you ask me if I'll play here next year: Yes, of course."
Schlotterbeck, meanwhile, has openly said he would prefer to stay in Germany, with Borussia Dortmund thought to be leading the race for the centre-back, who is out of contract in 2023.
