The 19-year-old wonderkid has been limited to just six starts in the Bundesliga this season due to various injuries and suffered a new setback early in Dortmund's 2-0 Bundesliga win over Stuttgart last night, as he was forced off with a hamstring problem.
Reacting to the injury, Rose told Bundesliga.com:
"'Gio' will be a world class player.
"He's a top lad with unbelievable qualities. We'll help him to get properly back on his feet."
According to Ruhr Nachrichten, Reyna could miss the rest of the season, but the club are yet to put a timeframe on his recovery.
