Report: Aston Villa open talks with Ginter
Aston Villa are said to be in negotiations to sign Matthias Ginter from Gladbach.
Borussia Mönchengladbach defender Matthias is understood to have attracted interest from Aston Villa.
According to Sky Germany, Ginter's agent has held talks with the English Premier League side.
Ginter has announced that he will be leaving Gladbach as a free agent, when his contract expires at the end of the season.
Around three weeks ago, the centre-back told reporters at a press conference:
"I honestly can't say much, because there is no decision from my side.
"I think it will be another two, three, four weeks before I'm 100 percent committed.
"Of course, I've already spoken to the national team coach [Hansi Flick] about what he thinks, how he sees my situation."
