Köln reportedly set to sign Kilian permanently from Mainz

Sky Germany claims that FC Köln are looking to tie Mainz loanee Luca Kilian down to a permanent deal.
FC Köln want to turn Luca Kilian's loan deal into a permanent one, according to Sky Germany.

On loan from Mainz, the centre-back has a €2 million buyout clause that Köln are planning to activate.

Kilian is said to have attracted interest from clubs from Germany and abroad, but 'The Billy Goats' look set to keep the 22-year-old, with only minor details left to be clarified.

Since joining Köln from Mainz last summer, Kilian has featured 28 times for Steffen Baumgart's team, scoring once.
