Kobel and Witsel to miss Dortmund's game against Bayern

Gregor Kobel and Axel Witsel have been ruled out of Borussia Dortmund's clash with Bayern.
Borussia Dortmund have been rocked by an injury blow ahead of Saturday's top-of-the-table clash with Bayern München, with Gregor Kobel and Axel Witsel both set to miss the game.

The duo were ruled out of the game by BVB coach Marco Rose at today's pre-match press conference.

Kobel is struggling with an ankle injury while Witsel is suffering from an infection that is being treated with antibiotics.

Dortmund will also have to manage without several other players, including Mahmoud Dahoud, Mats Hummels, Donyell Malen, Thomas Meunier and Giovanni Reyna.

Meanwhile, it's unclear if Dan-Axel Zagadou and Marius Wolf will be able to feature, with Dortmund set to make a late decision on their availability.

"We hope that they will both be fit enough to play," said Rose.
