RB Salzburg centre-back Maximilian Wöber is being touted for a move to VfL Wolfsburg.

According to Bild, Wöber is high on Wolfsburg's wish list, with the 24-year-old seen as a possible replacement for John Anthony Brooks, who is set to depart Volkswagen Arena on a free transfer.

Per the German tabloid, it would take an offer of around €12-15 million to prize Wöber away from Salzburg, where he's under contract until 2024.

Salzburg paid €10.5 million to sign Wöber from Sevilla in 2019. He has since gone on to make 100 appearances for the Austrian champions, scoring six goals and making three assists.
