Hoffenheim to battle Bochum for Hofmann?

Kicker claims that Hoffenheim are ready to battle Bochum for the signing of Karlsruhe forward Philipp Hofmann.
Hoffenheim have expressed interest in Karlsruhe striker Philipp Hofmann, according to Kicker.

Per the report, Hoffenheim are keen to sign a player with good heading ability and have identified the tall striker, who has scored 18 goals in the 2. Bundesliga this season, as an option.

Hoffenheim left-back David Raum is one of Hofmann's best friends, which could prove to be an advantage for 'Die Kraichgauer'.

However, they are not the only club chasing Hofmann, who has also been linked with Bochum.

Hoffenheim will already be signing two players for free in the summer, with Grischa Prömel and Finn Ole Becker set to join the club as free agents from Union Berlin and FC St. Pauli, respectively.
