Germany announce squad for November matches

Germany have announced their squad for the upcoming fixtures against Russia and the Netherlands.
Germany's squad for the upcoming matches against Russia (friendly, November 15) and the Netherlands (UEFA Nations League, November 19) has been revealed.

As reported earlier today, Bayern München's Jerome Boateng has been left out by Germany coach Joachim Löw. Meanwhile, Marc-André ter Stegen is not in the squad either as he's struggling with a shoulder problem.

"The coach has given rests to both Jerome Boateng and Marc-André ter Stegen, with the latter carrying a slight shoulder problem," the German Football Association (DFB) tweeted.

The DFB also announced that Toni Kroos will only join the squad for the game against the Netherlands.
