Dortmund reportedly emerge as suitors for Köln midfielder
FC Köln midfielder Salih Özcan is said to have attracted interest from Borussia Dortmund.
Borussia Dortmund are facing a summer of upheaval and are plotting their next moves after completing the signings of Niklas Süle and Nico Schlotterbeck from Bayern and Freiburg, respectively.
In addition to the likes of Karim Adeyemi (RB Salzburg) and Ramy Bensebaini (Gladbach), 'Die Schwarzgelben' have emerged as suitors for FC Köln midfielder Salih Özcan, according to Express.de.
Per the Köln-based publication, Dortmund are showing "concrete interest" in the defensive midfielder as a possible replacement for departing veteral Axel Witsel, claiming that a move to Signal Iduna Park is "a serious option" for the player.
The 24-year-old has featured 32 times for Köln this season, scoring two goals and providing an assist. His contract expires in 2023.
