The fact that Premiership clubs are interested in procured Austrian attacker Christoph Baumgartner is not new news. A flurry of transfer rumors involving the 22-year-old last season ultimately died down when the Hoffenheim academy product penned a new deal with the only professional club he's ever played for.

Speculation about Baumgartner's future now resurfaces after, despite a generally successful season during which the young prospect scored six goals, Hoffenheim are almost certain to miss out on European club football next year. If a report in German tabloid Sport Bild is to be believed, the Austrian international has a €30 million exit clause built into his current contract.

Sport Bild reports that Baumgartner is "seriously considering" whether to take the next step in his career. The report lists familiar courters Liverpool and Manchester United, also stating that Leicester City and Sevilla have made concrete inquiries with the Kraichgauer. Baumgartner is said to have the legal right to invoke his exit clause should he wish to.
