Fantasy Bundesliga tips: 10 players to consider for Matchday 33
Here are 10 players you should consider bringing into your Fantasy Bundesliga team for Matchday 33.
In this Fantasy Bundesliga article, we will not be focusing on the most obvious picks such as Erling Haaland, Christopher Nkunku and Robert Lewandowski.
Instead, we will highlight players with a maximum ownership percentage of 15%, who could offer great value as differentials for Matchday 33.
Luca Netz, Gladbach (Defender, 4.3M, 1%)
Available for just 4.3 million, Netz looks set to continue at the left wing-back position against an Eintracht Frankfurt side, who are likely to have tired legs after their Europa League semi-final clash with West Ham.
Benno Schmitz, FC Köln (Defender, 4.7M, 4%)
Coming off a four-game winning streak, FC Köln continue their quest for Europe against Wolfsburg, who no longer have anything to play for this season. Schmitz had a very good game against Augsburg last week, scoring 12 points, and he costs just 4.7 million.
Marvin Plattenhardt, Hertha BSC (Defender, 6.1M, 2%)
Sitting four points clear of Stuttgart in the relegation play-off spot, 15th-placed Hertha go into their upcoming clash with Mainz with the hopes of securing another season in the top flight. Plattenhardt has been a key man in Hertha's bid to avoid relegation, having picked up 35 points over the last three games, which have seen the capital club pick up seven points.
Marius Wolf, Dortmund (Midfielder, 5.9M, 1%)
After playing as a right-back recently, Wolf is being tipped to start on the wing against bottom-placed Greuther Fürth, who have already been relegated. Owned by just 1 percent of managers, he offers great value as a differential.
Gerrit Holtmann, Bochum (Midfielder, 6.2M, 2%)
Coming off a 12-point haul against Borussia Dortmund, Holtmann will be playing the Friday night fixture at home against relegation-threatened Arminia Bielefeld, who are without a win in their last nine games. The midfielder is a bit of a boom-or-bust player with the potential to score really big when he does well as he showed on Matchday 22 (25 points) and Matchday 14 (20 points).
Patrick Wimmer, Bielefeld (Midfielder, 7M, 6%)
Unlike Bochum, who are safe from relegation, Bielefeld have everything to play for tonight and desperately need to pick up points to keep their hope of avoiding the drop alive. With three goals and eight assists to his name this season, Wimmer is one of the players 'Die Arminen' will be relying on attacking wise.
Jonas Hofmann, Gladbach (Midfielder, 16.2M, 4%)
Hofmann has been one of Gladbach's most important players this season, scoring 11 points per game on average. Last week, he bagged a brace and scored 22 points – more than any other player.
Mark Uth, FC Köln (Striker, 11.4M, 2%)
Uth has amassed a whopping 65 points in his last five games, meaning he is by far the most in-form player in terms of fantasy output. Still, he's owned by just 2 percent of managers, and it's not too late to jump on the bandwagon, as Köln are playing to quality for Europe and have two attractive fixtures yet.
Breel Embolo, Gladbach (Striker, 13.4M, 2%)
He might have flown a bit under the radar, but Embolo is actually one of the most in-form strikers in the league in terms of fantasy output, having scored 37 points in his last three games.
Patrik Schick, Leverkusen (Striker, 17.2M, 10%)
Schick has scored in his last two games and will be keen to continue his good form as Leverkusen look to seal a Champions League spot with a win against Hoffenheim.
