Dortmund expect to "have clarity" on Haaland's future and "move forward" with Adeyemi next week

Sebastian Kehl has revealed that Borussia Dortmund expect to "have clarity" on Erling Haaland's future and "move forward" with Karim Adeyemi in the coming week.
Borussia Dortmund head of first team football and future sporting director Sebastian Kehl says he expects Erling Haaland's future to be clarified next week.

Haaland is widely expected to leave the club via a reported €75 million release clause, with his next employer set to be revealed soon.

"I think we will have clarity next week," Kehl told Sport1 on Sunday.

RB Salzburg and Germany forward Karim Adeyemi could come in as a replacement for the Norwegian international.

"I assume that we will move forward with Karim this week," said Kehl.

Kehl caused a stir after Saturday's 3-1 win at Greuther Fürth, when he seemed to cast doubt on Marco Rose's future as Dortmund coach.

"I assume so speaking today," Kehl responded twice in an interview with Sky Germany when asked if Rose would still be in charge next season.

However, speaking to Sport1 today, the BVB boss underlined that Rose will definitely remain at the helm.

"It was really unfortunate wording without any great intention on my part," he emphasized.
