Official: Hannover sign Bielefeld midfielder

Fabian Kunze is leaving Arminia Bielefeld to join Hannover 96.
Hannover 96 have snapped up Fabian Kunze on a free transfer from relegation-threatened Bundesliga side Arminia Bielefeld.

The 23-year-old midfielder will join the 2. Bundesliga club on a free transfer, when his contract runs out this summer.

"The talks felt great right from the start and were very focused," said Kunze after signing a three-year deal with Hannover.

"I am totally convinced of the sporting path to be taken at Hannover 96. I was shown a clear role that I can take on in this and that I'm happy to accept."

"We would like to thank Fabian for his performances and commitment in the Arminia jersey, in which we would have liked to see him continue. We wish him all the best for the sporting and professional future, good luck and health," commented Arminia managing director for sport Samir Arabi.
