Kohr joins Mainz on a permanent deal
Dominik Kohr's loan at Mainz has been turned into a permanent deal.
Mainz have signed Dominik Kohr on a permanent deal from Bayer Leverkusen.
The 28-year-old midfielder, who joined Mainz on loan in January 2021, has put pen to paper on a contract until 2026 with 'Die Nullfünfer'.
“Right from day one, Dominik Kohr has contributed to the team, on both a personal and on a sporting level," commented Mainz sporting director Martin Schmidt.
"He is an experienced team player who gives it everything on the pitch. He has found his sporting home here at Mainz.
"He is strong in the duels and good on the ball and is a real leader both on the pitch and in the dressing room."
Kohr has featured 23 times for Mainz this season, providing three assists.
