Borussia Mönchengladbach

Gladbach may have struggled for a large part of the season, but they are ending the campaign in impressive form.

They have lost just one of their last eight games, while they are currently unbeaten in their previous three matches.

Gladbach missed out on consecutive victories last weekend after Alassane Plea saw his early strike cancelled out by Eintracht Frankfurt's Gonçalo Paciência.

Die Fohlen have fared well at Borussia Park in recent weeks, with just one of their last six league home games resulting in defeat, although they have managed to find the net in all but one of their home league matches this season.

Gladbach still have issues at the other end of the pitch, with Adi Hütter's side currently holding the third-worst defensive record in the Bundesliga this season after conceding 60 goals in their 33 league games.

Saturday's hosts will be hoping to end the season with back-to-back home victories to send their fans into the summer break in a jovial mood.

Injury issues will prevent Jordan Beyer and Tony Jantschke from featuring, while Nico Elvedi will miss the contest through suspension.

Hoffenheim

After 25 games, Hoffenheim occupied a top-four spot, but an eight-game winless run has resulted in Die Kraichgauer falling away from European contention altogether.

In those eight matches, Hoffenheim have collected just three points, and they enter Saturday's contest off the back of back-to-back defeats.

Despite leading on two occasions against Bayer Leverkusen last weekend, three goals from Die Werkself in the final 20 minutes condemned Hoffenheim to a 4-2 defeat.

As well as suffering another defeat, Die Kraichgauer shipped four goals for the second game in a row, leaving them stranded outside the European places in eighth position.

Although there may not be much to play for on Saturday, Sebastian Hoeneß will not want to carry a winless run into the start of next season, so the visitors will be desperate to end the current campaign with a victory.

Hoffenheim's recent record with Die Fohlen suggests that a positive result may be in the offing, with Die Kraichgauer unbeaten in their last four meetings with Gladbach.

The visitors have a lengthy injury list to contend with. Marco John, Håvard Nordtveit, Chris Richards and Benjamin Hübner are among those that will miss out, while Munas Dabbur will serve a one-match suspension for an accumulation of yellow cards.
