Since joining Borussia Mönchengladbach from OGC Nice in the summer, Alassane Pléa has quickly acclimatised to life at his new club.
Speaking after Saturday's 3-1 win over Werder Bremen, in which he bagged a hattrick and took his goal tally in the Bundesliga to eight, the French striker said he made a great decision when he chose to join 'Die Fohlen'.
"It's a great feeling to have scored eight goals. I have landed at a perfect club that made it easy for me to settle in," Pléa told Bild.
Pléa has added more than just goals to the side, says Gladbach captain Lars Stindl.
"He gives a lot to the team. He also works incredibly hard, he always wants the ball, and he's a type of player who's always there when you need him," Stindl said.
Gladbach paid €23 million to sign Pléa.
