Report: Bayern open talks to sign Dembélé on a free transfer

L'Equipe claims that Bayern München are looking into the possibility of signing Ousmane Dembélé on a free transfer from FC Barcelona.
FC Bayern München are reportedly showing interest in FC Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembélé.

According to L'Equipe, the German champions have opened talks with the French international about a transfer to Allianz Arena this summer.

Since Dembélé is out of contract at the end of the season, he would be able to move as a free agent.

Barcelona could still convince Dembélé to sign a new deal, but Bayern are hoping to lure the 25-year-old away from Camp Nou by offering him a four-year contract worth €18 million per season, according to L'Equipe.

The La Liga giants paid a whopping €140 million to sign the French winger from Borussia Dortmund in 2017.

Since then, he has found the net 32 times and set up 34 goals in 149 appearances.
