Lindstrøm not ruling out leaving Frankfurt in the summer

Rising Eintracht Frankfurt star Jesper Lindstrøm has admitted he could be tempted to move on in the summer if the right offer comes along.
Jesper Lindstrøm has refused to rule out leaving Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer after an impressive first season in the Bundesliga, which saw him named Rookie of the Year.

In an interview with Danish publication B.T. ahead of tonight's Europa League final against Rangers, Lindstrøm was asked if a summer move could be on the cards for him, and he responded:

"It's something I've thought about because it's been going so well, but you also have to consider if things are going too fast. To me, it's about what kind of interest there is, because if we're talking about interest from a club that's not better than what I'm already a part of, then it's not something I'll start looking at.

"The past year has flown by, but I'm not in a hurry, so I could maybe use another year in Frankfurt before I'll move on. But it's difficult because if you get the right offer, you have to say yes."

First of all, Lindstrøm wants to crown the season with the Europa League trophy.

"I've told my agent that I don't have to know what's going on at the moment, because I've been concentrating on the last games and the Europa League final. I need to be 100 percent prepared for that. Therefore, I don't know, but I imagine there is some interest, now that I've been named as the best young newcomer [in the Bundesliga]," he said.

"During the summer break, we can start talking about potential offers and interest. But I'm at a good place, I'm playing regularly, and Frankfurt is the perfect club for me, so I'm in no rush."

Lindstrøm has featured 38 times for Frankfurt with five goals and nine assists to his name following his €7 million switch from Danish outfit Brøndby IF last summer.
