Frankfurt quartet in the Europa League Team of the Season, prizes for Kostic and Knauff

Four Eintracht Frankfurt players have been included in the Europa League Team of the Season. Filip Kostic has been named the Europa League Player of the Season, while Ansgar Knauff has won the Europa League Young Player of the Season award.
Eintracht Frankfurt went all the way in the Europa League, beating Rangers in the final after penalties earlier this week.

The performances of Oliver Glasner's team have been recognized by UEFA's Technical Observer panel, who have included four Frankfurt players in their 2021/22 UEFA Europa League Team of the Season, with Kevin Trapp, Martin Hintergger, Filip Kostic and Rafael Borré all making the side.

RB Leipzig duo Konrad Laimer and Christopher Nkunku are also in the team, meaning that the Bundesliga is represented by six players.

In addition, Eintracht wing-backs Filip Kostic and Ansgar Knauff were named the Europa League Player of the Season and Europa League Young Player of the Season, respectively.
