Five players FC Köln could sign this summer

Bild reports that FC Köln have five players on their radar.
FC Köln have drawn up a transfer shortlist of five players as they look to strengthen in the summer transfer window.

According to Bild, FC Köln have targeted Swedish forward Branimir Hrgota, who scored nine goals for relegated Bundesliga side Greuther Fürth last season.

'The Billy Goats' have two other strikers on their radar, per the report, which claims that Darmstadt's Philipp Tietz and Luca Pfeiffer, who spent last season on loan at Darmstadt from FC Midtjylland, have also been targeted.

Additionally, Köln are said to be interested in Danish full-back Jens Stryger Larsen, whose Udinese contract expires this summer, and Monaco left-back Ismail Jakobs, who could make his return to his hometown club on loan after struggling to nail down a starting berth at the Ligue 1 outfit.

FC Köln have already signed 23-year-old winger Linton Maina on a free transfer from Hannover 96 and turned Luca Kilian's loan from Mainz into a permanent move for €2 million, with Denis Huseinbašić from Offenbacher Kickers expected to arrive in the near future.

On the departure side of things, 'The Billy Goats' have said goodbye to Salih Özcan (Borussia Dortmund, €5 million), Yann Aurel Bisseck (AGF, loan made permanent, €670,000), Louis Schaub (Hannover 96, fee transfer), Tomas Ostrak (St. Louis CITY, free transfer) and Jannes Horn (released).
