RB Leipzig confirm Schlager signing
Xaver Schlager has officially joined RB Leipzig from Wolfsburg.
RB Leipzig have confirmed the signing of Xaver Schlager from Bundesliga rivals VfL Wolfsburg.
The 24-year-old Austrian midfielder has penned a contract until 2026 with 'Die Roten Bullen'.
"RB Leipzig are one of the top teams in Germany and are consistently in Europe, and have now won their first major title with the DFB-Pokal. I'm really pleased that this I can continue my development here," said Schlager.
Schlager spent three seasons in Wolfsburg, making 81 appearances and racking up three goals and nine assists.
Leipzig have reportedly paid around €12 million to land the central midfielder.
