Report: Laimer turns down new Leipzig deal amid Bayern links

Konrad Laimer is said to have turned down a new deal with RB Leipzig amid reports linking him with Bayern in particular.
German football magazine Kicker reports that Konrad Laimer has turned down a contract extension with RB Leipzig.

With one year left on his current deal, the Austrian midfielder has been linked with a move to Bayern München in particular.

Per Kicker, Laimer is yet to tell the club directly that he wants to leave this summer, but he has publicly admitted that "it's quite possible" that he will not be playing for Leipzig next season.

It's also quite possible that Leipzig will look to cash in on the 25-year-old to avoid losing him for free next year.

Laimer is also said to have attracted interest from the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham.
