Leverkusen boss: Havertz's future lies here

Joshua Kimmich recently said that he would like Kai Havertz to come to Bayern München, but there is no chance Leverkusen will let him go, says sporting director Jonas Boldt.
Bayer Leverkusen's Kai Havertz was named in Germany's starting eleven for the first time in Thursday's 3-0 win over Russia and has subsequently received a lot of praise for his performance.

After the game, Joshua Kimmich said that he would like Havertz to come to Bayern München, but Leverkusen sporting director Jonas Boldt underlines that 'Die Werkself' want to keep the 19-year-old.

"There is no reason to be restless. His future lies in Leverkusen. Here, Kai has an environment where he can develop excellently," Boldt told Sport1 and added:

"It's nice to see the boy developing from month to month, and of course we're pleased that he did so well in his first international game in the starting eleven. That is an acknowledgement of our path at Leverkusen."

Havertz has made 16 appearances for Leverkusen this term with six goals and five assists to his name.
