Report: Rennes reject Bayern's opening bid for French youngster
L'Equipe reports that Rennes have turned down Bayern's opening offer for 17-year-old Mathys Tel.
Bayern München have had a first bid for French youngster Mathys Tel rejected by Rennes, according to L'Equipe.
Per the French newspaper, Bayern offered €7 million plus add-ons for the French youth international.
But the bid wasn't acceptable to Rennes, who don't want to sell the 17-year-old unless they receive an "exceptional" bid, per the report.
Tel, who captained the France team that won the U17 Euros earlier this summer, has featured 10 times for Rennes' senior team.
