German broadcaster Sport1 reports that, after five loan-outs, former FC Bayern Academy product Adrian Fein is on the verge of a permanent move to MLS.

After failed loan stints at Jahn Regensburg, Hamburger SV, SpVgg Greuther Fürth, PSV, and Dynamo Dresden, 23-year-old Bayern defensive midfielder Adrian Frein is apparently in LAFC's training circle ahead of a permanent move to America's MLS. The former Germany U21 international--considered not good enough to feature for the Bundesliga's worst team last season--has seen his estimated market worth plummet for a peak of €5.5 million to €7,000 today.

As is often the case with MLS transfers, Fein is already with his US club; training with team whilst the final details are clarified. Fein will soon join Gareth Bale and Giorgio Chiellini as the third European player to join the younger Los Angeles side in recent weeks. German broadcaster Sport1 offers up no information on the coming transfer fee, but does state that Fein will sign a new contract that severs him from Bayern for good.
