Mark Flekken rules out leaving Freiburg
Freiburg goalkeeper Mark Flekken has ruled out a move away from Europa-Park Stadion this summer.
Mark Flekken has been linked with a move away from Freiburg, with Brentford and Ajax some of the clubs that have been linked with the 29-year-old goalkeeper.
However, he has now decided that he will not be going anywhere.
"I've been looking around, that's not a lie. I think that I have not yet reached the end point of my career. But there was also always a lot in favor of Freiburg, and at the same time I didn't want to take any risks," Flekken told Bild.
One of the main reasons behind the Dutch international's decision is the World Cup in Qatar in November.
"The national team coach think it's incredibly important that you play regularly," Flekken noted.
