In a recent interview, Shinji Kagawa said that he is looking to leave Borussia Dortmund and that he would like to continue his career in Spain.
BVB sporting director Michael Zorc now says he is open to discuss a possible transfer with Kagawa who has just appeared four times for Dortmund this season.
"He's a merited player, and of course we can understand that the situation is unsatisfactory for him. We will certainly talk about it after the first half of the season if he wants that," Zorc told Ruhr Nachrichten.
According to Ruhr Nachricthen, there was loose interest in Kagawa from Spain during the summer. However, it never came to anything concrete as Dortmund informed the Japanese international that they didn't want to let him go at the time.
