Dahoud should be back in action by the weekend

Dortmund trainer Edin Terzic cited Dahoud's injury as one reason why his team weren't able to impose their game last round when discussing his team's performance in the post match presser. Dahoiud has featured in Terzic's starting XI in all four competitive fixtures thus far this year. It is clear to those keeping a close eye on Dortmund's tactics that Terzic has devised a special role for Dahoud; something Emré Can summarily failed to emulate when he was brought on in the player's place in the recent loss.
Without Dahoud, Dortmund's attack slowed down noticeably in their recent fixture. Distribution on slower approach builds (particularly out wide) suffered. There were also far too many turnovers in build-up play after Dahoud left the pitch. The latest on the status of the newly-acquired Salih Özcan holds that the former 1. FC Köln man should be ready for action this weekend if Terzic needs him. The young trainer would still most likely prefer the player whom he's drilled his offense around.
