In interviews with German broadcasters, FCB head-coach Julian Nagelsmann expressed a profound displeasure with the performance of match-official Daniel Schlager during Saturday evening's encounter with Gladbach.

Nagelsmann, who was booked for dissent late in the match along with both Sané and Kramer, said that he felt Schlager had decided "every 50-50" in favor of Gladbach and called Schalger's performance "horrible". The 35-year-old trainer concluded the interview with a mixed English-German sentence, "Now I get wahrscheinlich strafen (probably a fine)."
