Glasner confirms Kamada will stay at Frankfurt despite Benfica links

Oliver Glasner has confirmed that Daichi Kamada will still be playing for Eintracht Frankfurt when the transfer window closes.
Eintracht Frankfurt coach Oliver Glasner has made it clear that Daichi Kamada will not be leaving the club this month.

Speaking after Frankfurt's 4-3 win over Werder Bremen yesterday, Glasner dismissed speculation linking Kamada with Benfica.

"I was very relieved before the game that Daichi Kamada has committed himself to us. Everything that was said is wrong. Daichi stays with us," Glasner told reporters.

"This is a very important sign to achieve our ambitious goals and that we keep our key players here. That's why today was a very nice birthday," added the Frankfurt coach, who turned 48 yesterday.
