Augsburg confirm loan-outs for Malone and Koudossou
The parking of FC Augsburg's back-up attacking prospects continued on Thursday with the confirmed loan-out of striker Maurice Malone.
Winger Henri Koudossou is also, along with Malone, headed to the Austrian Bundesliga.
A few short hours after sending Ricardo Pepi to the Erdevisie, FC Augsburg also confirmed the loan-out of their other American heritage striker, Maurice Malone. The 22-year-old Augsburg native will spend the year with Wolfsberger AC in the Austrian Bundesliga.
Winger Henri Koudossou is also, along with Malone, headed to the Austrian Bundesliga.
After stints with SV Wehen Wiesbaden and 1. FC Heidenheim, this will be the third consecutive year Malone spends away from his hometown parent club. New FCA trainer Enrico Maaßen did declare himself impressed with the German-American's performance in training camp, but the amount of players currently ahead of him on the depth chart rendered playing time a remote possibility.
FC Augsburg also confirmed the loan-out of winger Henri Koudossou at the same time. Malone's fellow developmental prospect will also spend the year in Austria with SC Lustenau.
