German footballing magazine Kicker, who maintain inside contacts within the VfL, has now weighed in to insist that this is patently false.

Transfer rumors involving the talented 22-year-old Frenchman have remained a staple of daily life in German footballing circles during every transfer window since the youngster's emergence with the club.
