Stuttgarter Striker Search: Mulitple sources claim Guirassy, not Ajorque, will sign

In VfB Stuttgart's deadline day "Tale of two Strikers", Germany's preeminent footballing publication and its main sporting tabloid are currently reporting that it is Sehrou Guirassy, not Ludovic Ajorque, who will sign for the Swabians.
Kicker Magazine, Sport Bild, and transfermarkt's German hub all now claim that there is a more likely candidate among the two traded names apparently set to serve as Sasa Kalajdzic's deadline day replacement. Despite reports from Patrick Berger of German broadcaster Sport1 that Ludovic Ajorque was in Stuttgart for a medical, it should be Sehrou Guirassy who signs for the BaWü club.

It looks to be the case that Ajorque is not, in fact, in Stuttgart. Berger's twitter profile was bombarded with pictures of the French striker active in Strasbourg's current training session. Many German footballing media sources have seized upon this to discredit the story and declare that Ajorque will not be moving to either Stuttgart or Hertha.

Guirassy is a Bundesliga veteran who spent three seasons with 1. FC Köln between 2016 and 2019. The now 26-year-old netted nine goals for die Geißböcke during two top flight seasons and his final year with the club in the second division. The Stade Rennes man is still said to be in transit to the Bundesrepublik for his medical, meaning confirmation may take some time.
