Franco Di Santo seems to be heading for the exit at Schalke 04. According to Kicker, 'The Royal Blues' are hoping to offload the Argentinian striker in January.
Apparently, Schalke hope to cash in on Di Santo in the winter as the club have no interest in extending the 29-year-old's contract which is due to run out next summer.
However, it's unsure if Di Santo wants to leave - and if Schalke can find a club who want to buy him.
The 29-year-old, who has scored just 12 goals in 88 appearances for the Gelsenkirchen side, currently earns €4 million a year, and he will most likely have to take a paycut at his next club.
Di Santo joined Schalke 04 from Werder Bremen for €6 million in the summer of 2015.
