Naldo: 'We have to make Schalke proud again!'
Schalke 04 veteran Naldo has given his teammates an encouraging appeal ahead of the Revierderby against Borussia Dortmund on Saturday.
Although Naldo has lost his place in Schalke 04's line-up, the 36-year-old remains a pivotal figure in the dressing room.

Speaking ahead of Saturday's Revierderby against Borussia Dortmund at the Veltins-Arena, Naldo has encouraged his teammates to put in a performance they can be proud of.
"We have to make Schalke proud again," Naldo said according to Sport Bild.
Schalke's vice-captain underlined just how important he is to the team by giving a memorable half-time speech midway through the recent home game against FC Nürnberg. 'The Royal Blues' were 2-1 up at the break and ended up winning the game 5-2.
"He gave us some motivational words and said that we needed to show more courage, to defend further forward and to be more aggressive," Schalke 04's Bastian Oczipka told Sport Bild.
After being a first team regular last season, Naldo has fallen down the pecking order at the Veltins-Arena recently. The 36-year-old has watched the last five Bundesliga games from the bench.
