Report: Werder Bremen have bid for centre-back rejected
Apparently, Werder Bremen have had a bid for Japanese international Takehiro Tomiyasu turned down by Belgian side St. Truiden.
Werder Bremen have had a €6 million bid for centre-back Takehiro Tomiyasu rejected by Belgian club St. Truiden, Bild reports.
Werder sporting director Frank Baumann is said to be hoping to sign a new centre-back during the winter transfer market.
However, apparently, St. Truiden aren't interested in selling the 20-year-old Japanese international in January, but are willing to let him go for €10 million in the summer.
Tomiyasu has made 19 appearances for St. Truiden since he joined the club in January 2018. His contract runs until 2021.
