Bayern München target Frenkie de Jong set to join PSG

Ajax starlet Frenkie de Jong, who has been linked with Bayern München, reportedly prefers a move to Paris Saint-Germain and is set to join the French champions in a €75 million deal.

Frenkie de Jong, who has been mentioned as one of Bayern München's main transfer targets, has decided that he wants to join Paris Saint-Germain, de Telegraaf reports.


According to the Dutch media outlet, a delegation from PSG met with Ajax boss Marc Overmars on Thursday and told him that they are ready to pay the €75 million that the Dutch club want for de Jong.

Overmars has confirmed the visit from PSG, but underlined that there is not final agreement at this point and that other clubs have shown an interest in the highly-rated midfielder as well.

Bayern München have also been linked with de Jong's teammate Matthijs de Ligt.
