Fantasy Bundesliga: Must-haves and differentials for Matchday 10

Ahead of Matchday 10, we have highlighted a must-have player (M) and a differential pick (D) from each game that you should consider for your Fantasy Bundesliga team.
FC Schalke 04 v. TSG Hoffenheim:

M: Christoph Baumgartner, Midfielder (TSG, 12.4 M, 11%) - Baumgartner has moved to the forward position the last two matches and has 16 Fantasy points over that span. This looks to be more than just an experiment and should get the start up top again versus Schalke.

D: Munas Dabbur, Forward (TSG, 6.2M, 0%) - Baumgartner’s new strike partner, Dabbur has also scored 16 Fantasy points over the last two games. He scored a goal last weekend and should benefit the most from having Baumgartner alongside him.

Eintracht Frankfurt v. Bayer 04 Leverkusen:

M: Jeremie Frimpong, Defender (B04, 11.7M, 14%) - Leverkusen finally had their breakout game and Frimpong was a major factor in that win against Schalke. Scoring 30 Fantasy points in one match, Frimpong has the opportunity to gain a ton of experience under new coach Xabi Alonso.

D: Randal Kolo Muani, Forward (SGE, 11.1M, 2%) - Muani will be back in the starting lineup after being suspended last matchday. He had scored 28 Fantasy in the four games prior to the suspension.

VfL Wolfsburg v. Borussia Mönchengladbach:

M: Marcus Thuram, Forward (BMG, 12.5M, 28%) - The third best forward in the Fantasy game at the moment, Thuram is certainly flying high. Wolfsburg are starting to get their act together but Gladbach should be in a good place mentally after a huge derby win last matchday.

D: Julian Weigl, Midfielder (BMG, 9.9M, 0%) - Although he won't offer too much offensively, having Weigl’s experience and knowledge back in the Bundesliga should help out the others on the squad immensely. With Gladbach’s high powered offense however, Weigl could easily find himself in some exciting situations.

VfB Stuttgart v. VfL Bochum 1848:

M: Manuel Riemann, Keeper (BOC, 9M, 11%) - The second best Fantasy keeper at the moment, Riemann and Bochum could start turning things around under new coach Thomas Letsch. As Bochum climb out of the bottom spot, Riemann will be relied upon to continue to make the spectacular saves.

D: Philipp Förster, Midfielder (BOC, 3.9M, 0%) - Förster looked stunning last matchday and has a chance to really blossom under the new regime. A change of scenery has been key to Förster finding his form and if this can continue, he will be an absolute gem of a Fantasy player at only 3.9M.

SV Werder Bremen v. 1. FSV Mainz 05:

M: Mitchell Weiser, Defender (SVW, 4.6M, 39%) - Weiser has been having his best season since 2018 and is showing no signs of stopping. Playing as a right wingback has been fruitful, contributing one goal and three assists so far.

D: Marcus Ingvartsen, Forward (M05, 4.5M, 0%) - Ingvartsen looks to be finally healthy after an injury plagued season. He had a great match against Leipzig last weekend, scoring a goal in just his second start.

RB Leipzig v. Hertha BSC:

M: TImo Werner, Forward (RBL, 14.8M, 8%) - Werner has scored 39 Fantasy points over his last four matches. Leipzig are starting to move back up the table and which is only a good thing for Werner owners as he begins to show signs of his former self.

D: Dodi Lukébakio, Forward (BSC, 8.3M, 1%) - Lukébakio has scored in back to back games, totalling three in his last five games. Hertha are also unbeaten in their last five, albeit four draws, but are showing signs of improvement.

1. FC Köln v. FC Augsburg:

M: Iago, Defender (FCA, 8.1M, 2%) - Iago’s solid play has seen him rise in the defensive rankings. He has scored 39 Fantasy points over the last four matches, making him one of the most in form defenders right now.

D: Ermedin Demirović, Forward (FCA, 8.2M, 1%) - Demirović has been on fire, scoring 29 Fantasy points in the last two games. Augsburg have been on a great run of form as well, winning three of their last four games.

1. FC Union Berlin v. Borussia Dortmund:

M: Karim Adeyemi, Forward (BVB, 11.6M, 2%) - After a good showing against Bayern, Adeyemi should regain his starting spot. He hasn’t completely hit his stride yet but is gaining confidence every week.

D: Niko Gießelmann, Defender (FCU, 7.7M, 2%) - Gießelmann only played a minute in the midweek Europa League match so he should be in great shape for the weekend. An assist last week against Stuttgart finally got him on the score sheet and we should start to see that a lot more often.

FC Bayern München v. Sport-Club Freiburg:

M: Leroy Sané, Forward (FCB, 15.7M, 18%) - With Musiala likely out, Sané will be the most influential Bayern player on the pitch at the moment. If it wasn't for Musiala’s exceptional play, Sané would be receiving more attention as he is having one of the best seasons of his career so far.

D: Daniel-Kofi Kyereh, Midfielder (SCF, 5.3M, 1%) - Kyereh continued his hot start, scoring in three straight matches in all competitions. He is a relatively low risk play as well with his cheap price.
