Yussuf Poulsen: 'I like to play against Hummels'

RB Leipzig striker Yussuf Poulsen says he would prefer to play against Mats Hummels when 'Die Roten Bullen' face Bayern München next week.
Speaking ahead of RB Leipzig's clash with Bayern München on December 19, Yussuf Poulsen has singled out Mats Hummels as the centre-back he would prefer to play against.

"I like to play against him. I can run in behind his back, because my speed gives me an advantage. My striking partner Timo (Werner) would probably say the same thing," the RB Leipzig striker told Sport1 and continued:

"When you see that Bayern press high up the pitch, and you have the opportunity of running in behind a centre-back, you prefer playing against the slowest one".

Poulsen also said he would like to avoid playing against Niklas Süle whom the Danish international describes as a 'very good centre-back'.

"He's really strong one-on-one. I've already played against him often enough, also when he still played at Hoffenheim," Poulsen said.

Mats Hummels watched Bayern München beat FC Nürnberg 3-0 from the bench on Saturday while Niklas Süle and Jerome Boateng played in the central defence for the German champions.
