Augsburg vs. Bochum preview: The visitors are looking for their first away points
Augsburg will look to return to winning ways when the face a Bochum side who are still searching for their first away points of the season.
Augsburg
Augsburg are currently winless in six league games, leaving them in 14th place with four points separating them from the bottom three.
Despite struggling to pick up victories, Augsburg would have taken confidence from holding Union Berlin to a 2-2 draw in their away meeting last weekend. Enrico Maaßen's side had to come behind on two occasions, with Florian Niederlechner scoring a brace to ensure his side avoided a third consecutive defeat.
While the Fuggerstädter have scored in their last nine Bundesliga matches, they have failed to keep a clean sheet in seven straight games. They have also conceded at least two goals in their previous five league matches, and they will need to improve defensively if they are to record all three points against Bochum.
Augsburg have only picked up five of their 15 points from home games, and they will be looking to record their second home win of the Bundesliga season on Saturday.
