Luca Netz has confirmed that he's aiming to head out on loan in January.
Gladbach defender Luca Netz has revealed that a loan move is "on the cards" for him in January.
With Ramy Bensebaini being Gladbach's preferred option at left-back, Netz has been limited to just 138 minutes of Bundesliga football this season, and the 19-year-old admits he wants to play more.
"It's difficult to get playing time right now," Netz said ahead of the German U21 national's match against Italy on Saturday.
"I definitely feel very comfortable at Borussia Mönchengladbach. But I think there might be another conversation in the near future, because I'd like to play more."
Clubs from within the Bundesliga and Italy and England are said to be keeping tabs on the young left-back.
