Sport Bild Report: Two more EPL sides interested in Frankfurt's Sow

Germany's main sporting tabloid reports that at least three EPL sides have Eintracht Frankfurt's Djibril Sow on their radar heading into the January transfer window.
It will take a seriously lucrative offer for Eintracht Frankfurt to consider parting ways with the 25-year-old talent who has evolved into the most important component of their midfield engine. A reported €20 million tender from Nottingham Forest this past summer evidently wasn't enough. Germany's Sport Bild reports that Forest, Arsenal FC, and Newcastle United may be preparing to try again in the coming transfer window.

Sow has certainly made no secret of his desire to move to the Isle as part of his long-term career objectives. Sow stated that he felt remaining with the Hessen club nevertheless remained in his best interest when speaking to the tabloid some months back. The 35-times-capped international's current form for both club and country will certainly leave some of the of the more affluent English sides eager to pry him away in the coming weeks.

Sow's current contract with the German Eagles runs through the end of next season, meaning that the SGE would presumably be more willing to sell him this offseason. The player's latest estimated market value has risen to €22 million in the latest transfermarkt update. An oversized offer could possibly persuade Markus Krösche and the Frankfurt administrative team to sell him off.

Daichi Kamada, Eric Junior Dina Ebimbe, and Kristijan Jakic could fill in at Sow's six position until a serviceable replacement could be procured. Jakic and Ebimbe are actually natural central midfielders whom have been playing out of position in head-coach Oliver Glasner's tactical set-up.
