Report: Hoffenheim, Gladbach and Everton interested in Füllkrug

Sport Bild reports that Hoffenheim, Gladbach and Everton could make a move for Niclas Füllkrug this month.
Werder Bremen forward Niclas Füllkrug has attracted interest from Hoffenheim, Borussia Mönchengladbach and Everton, according to Sport Bild.

However, all three clubs currently have little chance of signing the German international, per Bremen-based publication Deichstube.

Having just sold Georginio Rutter to Leeds United for a fee rising to €40 million, Hoffenheim would be able to afford Füllkrug, who would probably cost around €20 million.

'Die Kraichgauer' have already signed a striker in the shape of Danish international Kasper Dolberg, who has arrived on loan from OGC Nice. But, apparently, they are considering strengthening further up front.

The question is, though, if a move to Hoffenheim would be too much of a sideways step for Füllkrug.

As for Gladbach, they would have to sell Marcus Thuram to be able to make a move for Füllkrug. However, reports have claimed that neither the club or the Frenchman are interested in parting ways at this point.

Everton are fighting relegation in England and are looking to bring in extra firepower to get out of the drop zone.

But even if a move to Goodison Park would be lucrative from a financial perspective, Füllkrug looks unlikely to move to England to take part in a relegation battle.
