Kicker has released the results of a survey that 214 Bundesliga players have anonymously taken part in.

As many as 44 percent of the participants believe Marco Reus has been the best player in the Bundesliga this season. Axel Witsel (8,9 percent of the votes) and Luka Jovic (8,9 percent of the votes) were tied in second place while Jadon Sancho (7,9 percent of the votes) and Thorgan Hazard (5,6 percent of the votes) ended up as number four and five respectively.

The players were also asked to pick the most disappointing players of the first half of the season. Mats Hummels (15,4 percent of the votes) tops that list ahead of teammates Jerome Boateng (13,6 percent of the votes) and Thomas Müller (7,9 percent of the votes). Just like Müller, Stuttgart veteran Mario Gomez received 7,9 percent of the votes.

Borussia Dortmund's Lucien Favre was clearly voted the best coach (55,1 percent of the votes) in front of Eintracht Frankfurt's Adi Hütter (28 percent of the votes) and Borussia Mönchengladbach's Dieter Hecking (6,5 percent of the votes).

Meanwhile, Schalke's Domenico Tedesco (24,3 percent of the votes) was voted the most disappointing coach ahead of Bayern München's Niko Kovac (17,8 percent of the votes) and the now former VfB Stuttgart coach Tayfun Korkut (15,9 percent of the votes).

Finally, as many as 73,4 percent of the participants see Borussia Dortmund as the most likely winners of the Bundesliga this season. 22,9 percent of the players voted for Bayern München while Borussia Mönchengladbach received 2,3 percent of the votes.
