Schalke 04 keeper Nübel airs frustration with reserve role
Schalke 04 keeper Alexander Nübel has underlined that he wants to play regularly.
Germany under-21 keeper Alexander Nübel delivered some convincing performances while Ralf Fährmann was sidelined with an injury during the autumn of last year.

However, since Fährmann recovered from his injury, Nübel has had to settle for a bench role again - to the frustration of the 22-year-old who wants to play regularly.
"I've been sitting on the bench for a few years now. Now, I want and have to play for a longer period of time - preferably week after week," Nübel told Westline and added:
"For a year, fortunately, I have collected regular match practice in the under-21 national team, but of course, that's different to playing in the Bundesliga. I want to show what I can do there too, but that's difficult at Schalke."
"We have one of the best goalkeepers in Germany in our ranks," the 22-year-old said of Fährmann.
Therefore, Nübel says he could imagine going out on loan. Under all circumstances, the talented keeper intends to discuss his situation with his agent and with the club.
It's not the first time that Nübel makes it clear that he wants to play more. Back in November, he also mentioned a loan spell as a possibility.
