Borussia Dortmund have decided not to let Julian Weigl and Maximilian Philipp leave this month, Kicker reports.
About a week ago, Kicker reported that Philipp could leave in January on certain conditions, but apparently, the Bundesliga league leaders want to keep the versatile offensive player after all as he is considered the main back-up player for Marco Reus.
Julian Weigl will also stay no matter what. Paris Saint-Germain and AS Roma have both shown an interest in the central midfielder, but Dortmund want to keep him to maintain their squad depth in midfield.
Meanwhile, Jeremy Toljan, Alexander Isak, Dzenis Burnic and Shinji Kagawa could all leave this month.
Kagawa has made it clear that he wants to continue his career in Spain, but Dortmund haven't found a buyer for the offensive midfielder yet.
