Borussia Dortmund have had an outstanding season so far, and it's safe to say that Marco Reus has had a key role in his team's success, scoring 14 goals and making nine assists in 24 appearances in all competitions.
Lucien Favre, who took over as Dortmund coach last summer, has worked with Reus before at Borussia Mönchengladbach, and he is extremely pleased about having the offensive midfielder at his disposal once again.
"I know Marco well from Gladbach, and I must say that he has always been sensational," Favre said in an interview with Bild am Sonntag and went on:
"Offensively, he can put his stamp on every game - particularly in the middle at his favourite position. He's an intelligent player who has a feeling for football. An outstanding footballer. Fantastic!"
Favre also lauded praise on Jadon Sancho who has arguably been Dortmund's biggest breakthrough star this season.
Despite being just 18 years old, the English international has emerged as an important player at Signal Iduna Park with Favre at the helm.
"He's already incredibly good," Favre said and added:
"Jadon Sancho plays a crucial role at a very young age. His dribbling is amazing."
So far, Sancho has made 24 appearances for Dortmund this season with seven goals and 10 assists to his name.
