FC Augsburg's well-documented need for help at the right fullback position may end up leading to the Isle. Fabrizio Romano reports that Motherwell right back Max Johnston - expected to depart the Scottish Premiership on a free this summer - may wind up playing in the Fuggerstädt. Romano also lists Udinese and AS Monaco as potential suitors.

The 19-year-old has scored one goal and chipped in five assists both for Motherwell and his current loan club in the Scottish Championship, Cove Rangers, during the current campaign. He's been capped six times and scored twice for his country at various youth levels. Augsburg are widely expected to make some sort of move at the right back position; for which they currently only have Robert Gumny as a natural player.
