Fantasy Bundesliga: 10 players to consider for Matchday 28

Here are 10 players you should consider bringing into your Fantasy Bundesliga team for Matchday 28.
In this Fantasy Bundesliga article, we will not be focusing on the most obvious picks such as Jeremie Frimpong and Alphonso Davies.

Instead, we will highlight players with a maximum ownership percentage of 20%, who could offer great value as differentials for Matchday 28.

Silvan Widmer, Mainz (Defender, 8.7M, 1%)
On sale this week, Widmer has taken 22 points from two games since reclaiming the right wing-back spot from Danny da Costa after the international break. Mainz are on a run of eight games without defeat and should have a good chance of extending that against FC Köln.

Benjamin Henrichs, RB Leipzig (Defender, 9.M, 7%)
Marco Rose's decision to switch to a three-back system increases Henrichs' value from a Fantasy perspective as he proved with his impressive 18-point haul from the right wing-back position last week. With a home game against Augsburg coming up, it's hard to overlook him.

Benjamin Pavard, Bayern Munich (Defender, 13.6M, 16%)
Pavard has started all four games under Thomas Tuchel, who prefers to use the Frenchman at right-back, which should boost his chances of picking up points. Filling in for the suspended Dayot Upamecano at centre-back, Pavard picked up 20 points on Matchday 27 – more than any other player in the game.

Christian Günter, Freiburg (14.1M, 15%)
After his 14-point haul against Hertha, Günter came away empty-handed from last week's game against Bayern, but he should have a good chance of doing well in the coming weeks, as Freiburg have manageable games against Werder Bremen, Schalke 04 and FC Köln on the horizon.

Kingsley Schindler, FC Köln (Midfielder, 2.8M, 0%)
FC Köln ended a six-game winless streak last week with a comfortable 3-1 victory over Augsburg, a result that should give Steffen Baumgart's side a boost of confidence. Kingsley Schindler, who costs just 2.8 million, finished the game with 11 points and could be worth a shot if you're looking for a cheap midfielder, with Köln facing Mainz and Hoffenheim in their next two games.

Rodrigo Zalazar, Schalke 04 (Midfielder, 4.9M, 4%)
Despite a recent dip in form, Zalazar is a promising pick for the upcoming matchday if he starts against Hertha BSC on Friday night. As the 23-year-old has shown on several occasions this season, he's a great Fantasy asset when he's on his game.

Ritsu Doan, Freiburg (11.4M, 11%)
As previously mentioned in this article, Freiburg have a favorable schedule coming up, playing Werder, Schalke 04, and FC Köln in their next three games. This makes Doan an intriguing pick and a great alternative to the more popular and expensive Vincenzo Grifo.

Kevin Behrens, Union Berlin (Striker, 5.7M, 0%)
With Union playing relegation-threatened Bochum at home on Sunday, Behrens could be a great, cheap differential.

Dani Olmo, RB Leipzig (Striker, 12.8M, 2%)
After playing a key role in Leipzig's 2-0 DFB-Pokal win over Borussia Dortmund, Olmo was rested and only came on as a substitute in Saturday's 1-0 win over Hertha BSC. The Spaniard should now be in line for a return to the starting line-up and could make a real impact at home against Augsburg.

Leroy Sané, Bayern Munich (Striker, 17.9M, 11%)
Sané has emerged as a safe starter under Thomas Tuchel, having collected 19 points in his last two games. The Germany international gets on the end of a lot of shots and would have done even better recently had he been more clinical in front of goal.
