Bayern to bring Arsenal's Sven Mislintat back to Germany?

According to reports, Arsenal head of recruitment Sven Mislintat is set to leave the club. The former Borussia Dortmund chief scout could now join Bayern München instead.
ESPN have reported that Sven Mislintat is set to leave his position as head of recruitment at Arsenal.

Apparently, the former Borussia Dortmund chief scout could now return to Germany as Bayern München are eager to hire him according to reports from The Independent and Bild.

Mislintat left Borussia Dortmund to join Arsenal just over a year ago, but he now wants to leave due to disagreements over the club's 'organisational structure and transfer strategy', ESPN states.

According to Bild, Bayern were already in contact with Mislintat in 2017 after Michael Reschke left his position as technical director to join VfB Stuttgart, and the German champions are now said to be eager to once again try to persuade the 46-year-old to come to München.

Over the years, Mislintat has earned an excellent reputation for his scouting abilities. The 46-year-old was responsible for Dortmund's signings of Ousmane Dembélé, Robert Lewandowski and Shinji Kagawa among others while he has helped Arsenal to land the likes of Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi.
